You can get hired on Conyac Market via the following steps. Note that the terms "job" and "project" may be used interchangeably throughout Conyac.
1. Browse
Visit the Conyac Market and browse currently open job listings. You can filter the jobs by conditions such as language or work category. If you click on a listing, you will see an overview, details, and any conditions that the client has specified. Before applying, confirm that the job matches your skills, and the terms are acceptable to you. You can ask questions to the client before you apply for their job.
2. Apply
If you feel that a job's requirements and conditions are a good match, you can apply. Enter your desired terms (such as compensation and estimated time to completion) when applying. The client will be notified. If your proposed conditions don't match the client's requirements, you can negotiate with them. Note that there may be some cases that the client decides to cancel the project.
3. Contract
If the client chooses your proposal, you can make a contract with them. Note that in some cases, clients may be hiring more than one freelancer for a particular job. Your compensation will be paid once the client has accepted your complete submission.
4. Work
You can start your work as soon as the contract is made. For projects, you can communicate with other members through the "Group Comment" section.
There may be cases when you start your work and find out that there are other tasks that need to be done to accomplish the project. For example, the client requests to change the original content of the project or needs additional work. In those cases, you can ask to change the contract compensation. Once the client agrees, the contract will be adjusted accordingly.
5. Completion
When you have completed your work, submit it to your client along with a Completion Report. Please make sure you have completed every task requested by the client before submitting it.
6. Payment
The client will receive a notice of your finished work. They should check your work and accept it if there are no problems. If any mistakes, omissions, or issues fall within the agreed scope of work, you will be required to amend the work until the client accepts it. Your compensation will be awarded as soon as the client has approved your work.
7. Feedback
You can give feedback on the client once they have accepted your work. The client will also have the opportunity to post feedback on your work. Please keep in mind that feedback for both sides will be publicly viewable. When writing feedback, be professional in your tone because future prospective clients will be evaluating you based on the feedback you have left for past clients.
